FAQs

How does chlorine work?

When you dissolve hot tub chlorine in water, it generates hypochlorous acid. This potent acid swiftly eradicates waterborne bacteria upon contact but gradually deactivates over time. Consequently, regular monitoring of your hot tub's chemical levels is crucial.

How Do I use the right chlorine amount?

Aim to sustain a chlorine level between 3 to 5mg/l consistently. The frequency of chlorine additions depends on your usage patterns and bathing habits, whether it's a daily, bi-daily, or weekly routine. For each 1mg/l, add 2g per 1000 liters of water.

Pro Tip: 10ml is approximately equal to 10g.

*We strongly recommend utilizing test strips to assess sanitizer levels, pH levels, and Total Alkalinity (TA) for precise maintenance.
